About Scarborough Sparkle
This three-day event ushers in Christmas. Taking place in November Scarborough Sparkle is a magical and enchanting Christmas wonderland taking place at the Open Air Theatre. The event is free to attend and is the perfect place to dive into the festive spirit and get a head start on your shopping.
There’ll be the annual lantern parade created by local community groups as well as stalls offering crafts, gifts, hot food and drinks. If that isn’t enough there’ll be a tipi bar, where you can listen to music and toast marshmallows and a stage hosted by This is the Coast local radio station, featuring local choirs and competition giveaways. There’ll also be fun fair rides, music, a snow machine, Christmas tree, Santa sleigh and meet our mischievous green Christmas guest and special snow sisters. The event is sponsored by O'Briens funfairs, catering and stage hire.
